A visit from my daughter...

~ A daughter is one of the most beautiful gifts this world has to give. ~

My daughter and son in law came to visit this past weekend. As time came closer I was so excited to see her, as it has been since Memorial Day Camping that I had seen her last. Although my home is small, I knew there would be plenty of room for her, as well as her husband and their three dogs. When they arrived it was so nice to see her again. My modest 26ft trailer filled with 4 people, 5 dogs, and my cat. We managed well enough. On our first day together we spent time with the dogs letting them play for hours in the yard. I then took Veronica into town to get her hair done as we were preparing for her first Scentsy party. We had some difficult hiccups getting her to the salon, however in the end her hair turned out beautiful. We then had the Scentsy party. It was nice to see friends and family at the party, and Veronica did very well as her this being her first presentation. After the party we went to dinner with friends Teresa and Kelly. Being a long day very draining yet fun, we came home and fell asleep instantly. On Saturday we got up early to begin our plans for the day. After a delicious breakfast of homemade waffles, we went to the Snowflake boutique in Redmond. Although there was quite a bit to offer at this event, I was slightly disappointed. There was nothing there that looked anything like the pictures on line that had drawn me to the event in the first place. It was still nice to spend time with my daughter. We then picked up the guys and drove to Sisters, after walking around different stores, my knee ready to give up; we drove to Bend for a delicious dinner at Johnny Carino's. Getting home early being our plan, we had plenty of time to order more Scentsy and browse the catalog to find the smells and warmers that I wanted. Sunday morning came to soon. By the time I was waking up, the kids were already packed and ready to leave as Veronica was meeting her Dad for breakfast before she left town. I had a great time spending the weekend with my daughter and son-in-law, Bella loved playing with her doggy friends, and I think Veronica and Seth enjoyed themselves as well. With her leaving I promised myself that I will not let it be another 6 months past before I see her again. I am so lucky to have such a beautiful daughter. She makes me proud everyday. I can't wait until our next visit.
